A container should reflect fleet demand, not just factory availability
Buying truck tyres in bulk can improve purchasing economics and stock continuity, but the order becomes valuable only when the correct products arrive. The commercial process must connect fleet demand with exact sizes, axle-specific patterns, load requirements, a realistic container plan and destination-ready documents.
Thai Tire supplies wholesale enquiries from Thailand across commercial size families shown in the truck and bus catalogue. Brand and pattern availability varies, so every line should be confirmed on the quotation and final order.

Start with size, axle position and service
Create one line per required product. Record the complete size, load and speed markings, load range or ply reference, axle position, single or dual use, preferred pattern or service and quantity. Add route type: long-haul, regional, urban, bus, construction or mixed on/off-road.
Separate mandatory requirements from preferences. Vehicle and load compatibility are mandatory. Brand or pattern alternatives may be negotiable only if the buyer approves current technical data. If a proposed substitute changes load marking, application, dimensions or market tier, treat it as a different line.
Steer
Plan rib/all-position patterns according to approved application, handling, water evacuation and wear needs.
Drive
Plan traction patterns according to route, torque, tread, compound and shoulder design.
Trailer
Plan for load, free rolling, turning scrub and irregular-wear control.
Mixed service
Describe off-road exposure, cuts, chips, stone and heat rather than requesting “heavy duty” alone.
Use size demand to create the inventory mix
High-volume commercial families can include 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5, 295/80R22.5, 315/80R22.5, 11R24.5 and wide-base sizes such as 385/65R22.5. The right mix depends on the destination fleet. Similar sizes are not automatically interchangeable.
Use removal and sales history. Core sizes receive deeper quantities; growth lines receive controlled stock; specialist sizes should follow committed demand. Split every size by steer, drive, trailer or all-position requirement. Equal quantities rarely match real replacement behaviour.
Container counts depend on the exact tyre dimensions, nesting method, container type, packaging and payload. Ask for a line-by-line loading proposal after the products are fixed. A 40-foot high-cube may provide more volume than standard equipment, but no universal tyre count is reliable across sizes and patterns.
For mixed loads, optimise for sell-through and margin. Large wide-base or OTR products can change space quickly. Approve the final SKU quantity and substitution rule before loading, then reconcile actual loaded units against the packing list.
Compare the complete wholesale offer
Normalise exact product, quantity, unit price, currency, Incoterm and named place, stock or production status, readiness estimate, payment terms, inspection scope and documents. A lower FOB unit price may not produce a lower landed cost than a clear CFR or CIF offer once the same logistics scope is modelled.
Request technical sheets for selected lines. Confirm destination requirements with the importer or broker. Before payment, verify the legal seller and beneficiary. Before shipment, review product evidence, loading plan and document drafts.
The five inputs that speed up a bulk truck tyre quote
1Complete size list and quantity per size
2Steer, drive, trailer or all-position requirement
3Preferred brands or quality tier and allowed alternatives
4Destination country and port plus required trade term
5Target shipment window and destination document checklist
Send product links from the truck and bus tyre catalogue when possible. The team can then respond against identifiable SKUs.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy steer and drive tyres in the same container?
Mixed axle patterns may be combined subject to stock or production, line minimums and a confirmed loading plan.
How many truck tyres fit in a 40HQ container?
The exact count depends on size, pattern dimensions, nesting, packaging, payload and mix. Request a loading plan for the final SKUs.
Are prices displayed online?
The site uses quotation pricing because quantity, product availability, brand, trade term and destination affect the commercial offer.
Which information is required for a quote?
Send sizes, quantities, axle/application, acceptable brands or tier, destination port, trade term and timing.
Send a quote request that can be priced properly
Include your tyre sizes, quantities, preferred brands or quality tier, destination port and target timing. Thai Tire can then confirm current availability, a practical size mix and the next export step.
