The application data an OTR supplier needs
Provide machine make and model, tyre position, current size and rim, material carried, actual operating load, maximum speed, cycle distance, gradients, road or floor condition, ambient temperature and hours per day. Add the reason current tyres leave service: worn out, cut, impact, heat separation, bead damage or another cause.
This information lets the supplier distinguish a traction need from a heat, cut or load problem. It also reveals when tyre selection alone may not correct the operating issue.
Confirm construction, rating, tread and compound
Record radial or bias construction, exact size, tubeless or tube-type requirement, approved rim, ply or star rating and service code where applicable. Tread depth and compound selection can trade heat resistance against cut resistance; deeper is not automatically better in every cycle.
Request unit dimensions and weight for logistics. Large OTR products change container planning quickly and may require specialised unloading equipment. Confirm whether valves, tubes, flaps or other components are included or separate.

Control the first supply as a performance programme
For a new product, define the starting inspection, pressure policy, load and speed controls and measurement interval. Record hours, distance where available, tread depth, damage and removal reason by tyre position. Compare like-for-like machines and cycles.
Agree claim evidence and reporting before deployment. OTR failures may require detailed operating data and inspection; waiting until a damaged tyre has been discarded weakens the investigation.
